Jones Lang LaSalle launches Birmingham Licensed Leisure & Hotels team

Jones Lang LaSalleJones Lang LaSalle has launched a new Licensed Leisure & Hotels team in Birmingham with the recruitment of Cameron Wright and Jim Heskin from GVA Grimley. Their arrival forms part of the company’s national expansion strategy for its Licensed Leisure & Hotels team in England, led by Philip Booth.

Cameron has joined as an associate director and will lead the new team in Birmingham, with a remit to grow the business across the Midlands a similar role to that which he undertook successfully with GVA Grimley. He has over 20 years’ experience in the licensed leisure sector including the £75 million valuation of a start-up Marriott hotel and Staybridge Suites in Birmingham and the property valuation of a Marriot Hotel portfolio; valued at circa £150 million.

Jim Heskin has joined as a senior surveyor and has 12 years operational experience with hotels and licensed/leisure companies prior to achieving a MA in Property Management and Development and subsequent membership of the RICS. His expertise includes acquisition, agency, asset valuation, insolvency and development advice of licensed leisure premises.
